What she said.  Well, not about having voted, not yet.

I feel a lot of what she does. Yes, I am voting for Hillary. And not just "because I want a woman president", tho' I honestly don't feel I have to apologize for this. And not just because men are voting against her for being a woman - which makes my decision not a bad answer to that. It was WombatGirl who put it so beautifully into perspective for me: "I want Hillary to become president because I think it's about time we had a woman's perspective." So simple, so profound, & yes, I am bragging. But (to get back on track) I honestly feel her views are closest to mine that a president is going to have. Does this mean I think she's perfect? Of course not. But, if she has to be, then a lot of guys should be disqualified as well. & they're not.

For me, I think it's mostly about the issues; some about her experience, which helps. I tend to find Clinton's stance on many issues very sensible. A little bit, it's about feminism; it drives me batty that many of the attacks on her character are for things that her detractors would see as sterling assets in a male candidate.

I have run across more than one comment in the blogosphere about how all the candidates SUCK! I just don't see it. This is the first time in years that I've felt I wasn't just voting for the lesser of two weevils.
